Today, 8 January, is (or would be) the birthday of three of the greatest voices in music - Elvis Presley (87), David Bowie (75) both now deceased of course. But the third supreme vocalist is 85 today, Dame Shirley Bassey. I don't know if she's well known across the Atlantic, but she's a big name over here. She has one of the strongest voices you'll ever hear and sang the theme tune for three Bond films.
