Trump did make some political hay with his base by cancelling the talks after an American soldier was killed. A keen grandstand play.

Actually he probably would have gone through with it but it was pressure put on him from all sides that cancelled the meeting. Unfortunately the soldiers death was only used as an excuse to get Trump out of a self induced bad situation.  I'm glad to see Bolton gone. I think he gave Trump nothing but bad advise. Trump now wants to pay Iran x number of dollars to start talks again.

I see a couple of Republicans are wanting to run against Trump. Don't know how well they will do.

Right now the Demo's are too busy fighting each other to win an election. For some reason they keep throwing out bones with no meat on them.

If the Demo's do win there won't be any money left to play with and they will have to become the party of Fiscal Restraint just like the Tea Party wanted to be. 

And if he didn't consider talks, you would be screaming.....why isn't he talking to them? Because the place is made up of different Clans and what one group may agree to doesn't mean the rest will. You may be able to buy them off if each Clan is agreeable with the price. It will never end until other countries in the middle east stop re-supplying them. A bigger thumb has to be put on Pakistan which seems to be their biggest go between.

San Francisco authorities have now reached 120,000 complaints of human shit on the streets in the last seven years. If that's the complaints figure  alone, you can add a further million turds to that which wasn't complained about. Then there's the 4.54 million, yes I said 4.5 million syringes given out and mostly dumped on the streets too. The reintroduction of medieval diseases is so trendy don't you think? Not to mention the superlative record figures for suicide there. Diversity is our strength.

Can you imagine the spread of 20th century disease that is being stopped by handing out needles. Aids and hemp C would be rampant. Haven't heard of any medieval diseases other than measles which America just lost his clean bill of health from the world health organization for. It's because parents there don't believe in immunization programs already in place.

They have hired poop picker-uppers, probably Mexicans to try and help the situation. More public washrooms or Johnny on the Spots may be a small help or temperary fix. It's the declared homeless causing the problems. Until they are moved out the problems will continue.  

It's only considered an unlucky date in the Christian world for obvious reasons - 13 at the Last Supper, but why Friday I don't know. So I looked it up and Friday 13th only became a feature about 150 years ago following the death of the composer Rossini who thought Friday an unlucky day and being a Christian 13 was an unlucky number, he died on Friday 13 November 1868. 

There was also a popular novel published in 1907 Friday the Thirteenth which gave a fictional account of a Wall St crash engineered by an unscrupulous broker, that may have contributed to the superstition around that date.

If you can get through the next few Friday 13ths unscathed there will be only one each in 2021 and 2022.

The number 13 and Black Cats have always been considered lucky in our family.

Keele, about 10 miles from where I live, was the location of a Templar grange or farm. I Think it was a kind of retirement home for old Templars. After the dissolution of the Templars in England in 1312 it passed to the Knights Hospitallers who didn't maintain it for long, by 1338 there was just a solitary warden at Keele.

The site today is just a few bumps in a field.
