Well we have a new NAFTA since the Canucks like Pavlov's dog have heard the bell ring & realized where the feed bag is & signed on with Boss Trump.

The good part about it is you will be paying more for our steel and aluminum now because the tariffs weren't removed by Trump. Same for our soft wood lumber. Other that letting you try and sell 3.6% more dairy products here nothing much has changed.

I don't know what the outcome is yet Pete but I do know one thing, it will be a lot better for the US, as Trump won't entertain anything that's not. I was watching a couple of Democunts disgussing him yesterday and d'you know? they still don't get him. He's still the simplist mystery on earth to them. They talk about things like....raeding between the lines, HELLO, there are no inbetween the lines, only lines. And that other favourite of mine, when they say..... what does he mean by that? He means exactly what he says, he's not a politician, get used to it.

Today was another bad day for Trump after the New York Times annouced that Trump and his father gained their wealth through income evasion. Of course his new lawyer deniles it but what would he know about Trumps crooked dealings. Just something more for the Demo's to run with. You don't have much in the way of steel mills in operation Tommy and since Trump put the tarriffs on they haven't managed to reopened one steel mill but did manage to restart one smelter at a plant. You don't have any aluminum to build cars trains or planes of any kind with. All will now cost you extra now thanks to Trump. Any steel or aluminum you now buy off of us will cost you 25% more, so tell me how that is good for the average American. Even Shula will be feeling it soon when shopping at Walmart. Very little of any think Walmart sells is made in America or even Noth America. Would be guessing at the percentage made in China but am sure it's very high. When your own economists say tarriffs don't work and will end up hurting America then who do you believe, them or Trump.

So, Little Mr. Tariffshmariff, is Trudeau up there gloating that he put one over on Trump?  Dream on.

So, Little Mr. Tariffshmariff, is Trudeau up there gloating that he put one over on Trump?  Dream on. No, he's been the adult in the room for once. Being the leader of the party in power he's taking it from the other side of the house who are doing what any opposition party does by pointing out any flaws in the deal. We can't be held responsible for anything the Quebecors might do though after losing part of their dairy industry in the deal. I don't think that they will go as far as planting bombs in your mail boxes like they did here before, but maybe milder things like cutting off your electric in the dead of winter for a few day or when visiting their summer homes in Florida do donuts in formation in their knobby mud tires on Trumps golf greens. Tell Trump to hide any gators in the ponds there because the french will eat anything and hide the fact by putting a fancy parisian french name to it and calling it a delicacy.

When your own economists say tarriffs don't work and will end up hurting America then who do you believe, them or Trump. You can get ten economists in a room and no two of them will think the same. America doesn't have much in the way of steel mills and therein lies the problem that Trump is trying to solve. It's one we should be trying to solve and that's to bring more  steel production home. It is a very dangerous path to take, when you allow a possible future adversary to hold the key to your defence, by owning the steel manufacturing you require.

We are moving the mill in Hamilton To Buffalo, Pete. Next will be all our auto manufacturing which have provided jobs for ungrateful Canucks for decades. See America First.

Are you saying Canada is a possible future adversary to the States Major?

I though Pittsburgh was more your steel capital Tommy. It's great to move a factory but then you have to have the raw materials to smelt in it. GM said if the trade deal hadn't gone through they would probably  have go out of business.

Car sales are way down this quarter in the States when usually these are their best times. They said people didn't wait for this period but any one buying had purchased early knowing prices would rise with the steel tariffs. Already manufacturers of cars in North America be they American, Japanese or German said the prices of their cars will be going up because of the tariffs put on steel and aluminum. If you read the new car deal Tommy you will notice that both Canada and Mexico will carry on producing both car and parts. Probably because both countries quality standards are higher that what the States produces.
