If you are having problems or if Aimoo is down, there are two groups for help.

1.) The Aimoo Help Forum is at http://aimoohelpforum.aimoo.com/ .

This is the main group for reporting problems, either your problems or a groups problems.

If the server that the group is on is down or if Aimoo is down, then go to the

Facebook group.

2.) The Aimoo Assistance Facebook group is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/141193663182473/ .

This group is not monitored. It is to be used if the Aimoo help group is down or if Aimoo is down.

Remember, the help team are Aimoo members, that are helping us. They have access to contact

the programmers and the engineers. You have to be a member of the group, to post. The Facebook

group requires that you answer some questions, to be approved.

Aimoo is still fixing bugs and problems. They are adding back some features, that we had on the

old Aimoo system. I do not have the time table for this. You would have to ask in the help forum.

If they do not know, then they would have to contact Aimoo personnel.

We make an exception on here, all in fun of course. The trick is taking it if you dish it out and we've had years of practice at getting the balance right.

Mark is quite right, and you wouldn't find one member here who doesn't have a good sense of humour and able to see the funny side of life. It most certainly is Greystar. To attack someone means to try and do harm to someone on purpose. Here we do no more that brothers and sisters do to each other on a daily basic.

On the subjects, should you see an X instead of new, this is how to check the settings.

The link is at http://aimoohelpforum.aimoo.com/topic/icons__please_help-665869-16-1 .

"Just incase someone else having this problem..I went to Control Panel, then Forum Setting/ Setting..then where it says this:

Would you like the topic posticon is on the left to the topic title ? (on is left, off is right)

hit OFF..then Save..Then hit ON..then save..like a refresh..they went away..no more X boxes..lol

so simple..but I went crazy trying to understand what was going on and how to fix it..trying to save someone else nightmare..xoxo"

The background has gone all autumnal, is that your doing Shula or Grey's ? Also I used to use font level 14, but that's too small now for those of you with bad eyes so 16 is better.

I did not change the theme. I suspect, that it was Shula. Debby, the owner of my café group is a Aimoo theme maker. She has some beautiful designs.

Aimoo is working to let people use their own time zones for groups. The way to set your time zone is at http://aimoohelpforum.aimoo.com/topic/048___Setting_Your_Time_Zone-692954-10636-1 .

At least in the US, Daylight Savings Time (DST) is different. I am in the Eastern Time Zone. In order to get DST to work, I have to set the time zone to (GMT-04:00) Atlantic Time Zone (Canada). If you live outside the US and DST does not work, try the time zone that is one hour ahead of you. The problem is a Aimoo problem.

A question for Greystarfish.

Is there any way we can add accents etc in words when we type in replies? For instance the German General von Blucher has a umlaut (two little dots) above the "u" but I can't find a way to type it out correctly. The same with French words which have an acute over an "e".

I have never seen this question at the Aimoo Help Group. Does your keyboard and computer system support it?

If it does and you cannot do it at Aimoo, I would recommend that you join the Aimoo Help Group and ask them.

Aimoo is a Chinese website, so I really do not know if they support it.

If I type out a document using Word I can access all sorts of odd grammatical things to write out foreign words exactly, but here with simple replies none appear available.

The Aimoo Help Group is at http://aimoohelpforum.aimoo.com/ .I would recommend that you join it. If the members that help us, do not know the answer, they can ask the engineer or programmer. It is possible, that Aimoo will need to add this feature.

I was able to finish reading the posts. I am a member of the Facebook Aimoo Help group. It was a server problem. The engineer contacted the server company.
