Date Posted:16/05/2019 03:12:45Copy HTML If you are having problems or if Aimoo is down, there are two groups for help. 1.) The Aimoo Help Forum is at http://aimoohelpforum.aimoo.com/ . This is the main group for reporting problems, either your problems or a groups problems. If the server that the group is on is down or if Aimoo is down, then go to the Facebook group. 2.) The Aimoo Assistance Facebook group is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/141193663182473/ . This group is not monitored. It is to be used if the Aimoo help group is down or if Aimoo is down. Remember, the help team are Aimoo members, that are helping us. They have access to contact the programmers and the engineers. You have to be a member of the group, to post. The Facebook group requires that you answer some questions, to be approved. Aimoo is still fixing bugs and problems. They are adding back some features, that we had on the old Aimoo system. I do not have the time table for this. You would have to ask in the help forum. If they do not know, then they would have to contact Aimoo personnel. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:16/05/2019 09:14:34Copy HTML Patience is a virtue they say. We all seem to go to bits when we can't get our daily fix. Now you know what a drug addict must fell like. lol Myself, I was out buying bullets and I don't even own a gun to put them in. I'm sure that it was posted first at the top of the site before the site closed down to probably up grade or change things for the better. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:17/05/2019 09:51:37Copy HTML I have been out of sorts for several days now. My bowels haven't moved, what will I do? Any witches' brew for my maladies? I'm living on softners so know how you fell Tommy. I started taking an over the counter probiotic daily also and that seems to also help. If you go to a doctor he is going to say eat more fiber and drink a lot more water. That method seemed to take a long time to work for me. Have a colonoscopy. You should be having one of those every 5 years once you turn 50 anyway. As for investing, I won't touch the stock markets because of my age. There is no time left to recoup loses. I settled for high interest saving accounts and let the money we have in RSP GIC's ride because they are also gauranteed not to lose anything. If we were younger then I would put some in the weed business because that's were the new frontier is now. Like investing in Apple in the early days. Now if you are into high risk, then send me a couple of hundred and I will try the Blackjack tables at Niagara for you. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:18/05/2019 06:37:43Copy HTML Yes Pete, yesterday was stool-softener day & I feel much better today with a "load off my mind." Glad to hear that you are felling a bit better. Try picking up a probiotic at you local drug store and start taking one of them a day. They take awhile to get into your system so don't get the impression that they should work over night. I have been taking a wack of antibiotics in the last year and what happened to me is yes the antibiolics kill the bad bugs but at the same time they are also killing the good ones. The best people to see when taking medication is to check with your druggist and they seem to know more about the effects of taking certain medications more that your doctor will. I take a probiotic called Koena which is an over the counter one which the druggist recommended. Walmarts carries it. Silver like all the precious metals do better when the stocks and bonds markets are doing poorly and there is uncertanty in the markets. At that time they are used by investors as a safe haven. Right now both Silver and Gold seem to be fluctuating daily up and down because you are still in a Bull Market. When that changes then the rush will be on by investors to put their holding into precious metals for safe keeping. The fishing trip must be getting close now isn't it? I'm still waiting to see if I'll be able to take the trip west this year that we have been planning. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:18/05/2019 11:52:58Copy HTML Going to Chautauqua Lake NY for musky this year Pete. Tired of supporting the Canadian economy for a bunch of ingrates. Does this mean I have to tell the Brass band to stand down then? You never had it so good being 26 cents richer on every dollar you ever spent up here. From Lake Chautauqua you will be able to drive home every night. Not like you thought to go to a lake that only has Bluegills and Asian Carp in it. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:19/05/2019 11:27:15Copy HTML On your point Pete, those fishing lodge crooks in Ontario always charge U.S. funds. Imagine that? They charge their clients who are mostly American, make the exchange rate difference, buy their supplies & pay their help Canadian, & then I was insulted by a border guard on the Canadian side on top of all that. Musta been the Trump & Police Conference stickers on my truck. Not gonna drive home every night, that is not "fishing" eh?
Gonna try northern Ontario later this summer. Usually went in late May or early June.

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:19/05/2019 10:14:36Copy HTML When you come to Canada you take places that offer the American Plan which does everything for Americans including wiping their arses. There are probably thousands of others lodges and motels much cheaper in Ontario where you can stay and fish from. If you are paying in American dollars then that's just crazy when you can get the same deals other places in the same areas in Canadian dollars. You would also save roughly 26-27% of your money. When Americans come north to hunt and fish and only want to deal in American money you might as well take a magic marker and write a big M on your foreheads. Showing up in an Hawaiian shirt probably doesn't help either. lol At one time for an American crossing into Canada the only thing they might ask you was are you bringing in any fire arms with you, but since the States stiffened their border crossings the American government said we had to do the same to ours. If you remember back our customs inspectors at the border never even carried guns. Normally if you show up now like in your case they will ask what are you coming to Canada for and once you tell them to fish and tell then the amount of time and a address and phone number of the lodge you will be staying at there won't be a problem. It's much harder for a Canadian to cross into the States now than it is for an American to cross into Canada. I have seen videos here of married pink couples wishing to cross over to shop at one of the Malls or Plaza's in Buffalo. The American border agents will ask them what stores exactly will they be shopping in at those Malls. Most Canadians want to shop in all the stores not just an exact store and probably want to stop for a lunch or dinner and make a day of it. When the couple tried to explain that to the border agents then the Border agents turned completley anal on them both with threats of years of imprisonment to hand cuffs when they are speaking to them. These are people who don't even have a parking ticket on record. It's like dealing with power tripping Gestopo guards. The latest trick is asking Canadians have you ever tried Mary Jane in your life and if you answer yes no matter if it was 40 years ago, then you are not admissible to enter the States. The seniors probably get the hardest time because when they are traveling south to the warmer places they ask them if they have any prescription drugs on them. They answer yes and are asked to produce them. Usually it's the wife who is holding them all in her purse and when she brings them all out in one big zip lock bag she is asked why does she have drugs in her posession not prescribed to her. The labels are still on the bottles so they can see which ones the husband takes and which ones she has to take because they will have the name who they are for, the doctors name and phone number and what the pills are plus the script number on each bottle. You probably have noticed less and less Canadians are taking trips to the States like they did before. The border harassment is one of the main reasons for it. What problem did you run into at the Canadian one last time. Didn't have your Hawaiian shirt on did you? |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:20/05/2019 03:01:02Copy HTML We crossed at the 1,000 islands bridge & went up thru Ottawa. This guy was so rude & like a little Napolean in his booth. He asked the typical firearms, tobacco & alcohol questions & threatened me with a secondary inspection which would take 4 hours & required emptying the contents of the truck. I went into the grovel mode & yes sir, no sir stuff & was so pissed off I told the guy at the lodge I was going to write a letter. He said don't bother. And yes it was the American Plan, but this snobby Canuck wouldn't bait my hook. So I'll spend my money in the States this year & encourage Trump to continue the tariffs.

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:20/05/2019 09:59:47Copy HTML Too late with the tariffs Tommy, the Canadians took the States to the WTO and before they got to make a decision Trump all of a sudden dropped the tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum. I think that there is more to it than just the States losing in court though. With the White House pushing for War with Iran they will need a reliable source close at hand of both those materials. All of a sudden Canada has not become a national threat to the States anymore. I have to agree with you on security crossing both ways getting carried away though. On their behalf, they do run into some real winners. My last time bringing my wife and oldest daughter through from Cold Lake to Toronto on a posting I came through the States. Before we hit the check point they had a duty free shop on the Canadian side and my wife and daughter just had to stop in. They purchased two cartons of cigarettes and a small bottle of perfume. When we got to the border they asked us did we have anything to declare and we said yes and showed them the cigarettes perfume and receipt from the duty free shop. The guy looks at them and then tells us we have to drive down the road and into a garage type building. I'm driving a brand new Ford Probe an hauling a 14 ft. boat with a 45 hp. motor on it. I pulls into the garage stops and a guy there is just putting on his coveralls. He asks can I help you and I tell him I was to report here for some reason but don't know why. He seems to be unset already and asks me what my occupation was. I tell him I'm in the Canadian Armed Forces and on my way to my new posting in Toronto from Cold Lake. Now he's really mad. He gets on the phone and takes his anger out on the one he talking to at the border crossing. Half way through the yelling he stops and looks at me and says have a good trip sir and off we went. I was in the same situation because the boat was loaded with all our suit cases etc and even a spare 45 hp. that I had kept for parts. I was imagining everything taken out and covering the garage floor and then having to try and repack it all again. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:21/05/2019 12:50:47Copy HTML Well, speaking of crossing borders, I just heard Kirsten Gillibrand say that New Yorkers, and she mentioned Buffalo specifically, are and always have been, willing to take in families who are waiting for the immigration courts to hear their cases. So Tom.....how many families are you taking into your sprawling manor this year?

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:21/05/2019 06:34:49Copy HTML I am not very benevolent in that area Shula, unless I could find a nice looking "bed wench." Don't pay no mind to Tommy's dribble girl. Even the native girls in Northern Ontario keep turning him down so that in it's self should tell you something. The girls up there call him The Tall Man with the Little Hands. Trump apparently has a large number of vacancies in all his hotels, so why isn't he offering to house some of them there? The weather in the Virginia's is probably better suited to what the migrants are use to. |

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:22/05/2019 02:29:01Copy HTML Trump isn't the one screaming for open borders. He offered to send the immigrants to sanctuary cities but they don't them either. Tom just wants a little peasant company. No harm in that. "It is forbidden to spit on cats in plague-time."

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:22/05/2019 09:11:16Copy HTML Trump isn't the one screaming for open borders. He offered to send the immigrants to sanctuary cities but they don't them either. Not like you to be spreading fake news girl. You know as well as the whole world does that has never been said by anyone other than D. Trump and Fox News people like Tucker. Trump has also been told if he wants the numbers of asylum seekers at your southern border to be less them give back the money to these poorer countries that he took it away from which caused these problems in the first place. Under Trumps lead he should have assigned more Judges and security staff to get the problems sorted out at the border but he is only pushing for a wall to no where. Now you have 5-7 deaths caused directly by his inactions by not having enough healthcare workers to check these people out in the cages they are kept in. Did not your ancestors come to America looking for a better life and a new start? So, no more than these people want when you look at it. The Tea Party that was once formed for change has now been completely swallowed up by the group that they wanted to change. As for the sanctuary cities. They want them but Trump is trying to force them on other areas that aren't considered sanctuary cities. All because these area won seats in the last election. It's just Trump just having another spite attack and trying to punish areas that didn't vote for him. You wanted a dictator and you got what you wished for. Now him, Bolton and Pompeo are trying to start a make believe war with Iran even though the have nothing to show for the reason why. You keep going on how Trump has saved the world and how well the Markets are doing under his watch. Take a look a the 10 year charts and you will discover the Bull Market started under Obama in 2009 and went up every year he was in office and just carried on when Trump came in. If the Republicans had been in power during the Obama years you would all be broke and sharing rooms in some trailer park in Mexico.

Re:Aimoo Help Date Posted:24/05/2019 05:25:08Copy HTML Alexandria Ortiz-Cortez predicts the world will end in 12 years. Two-thirds of the democrats polled believe it. She said that only people with the intelligence of a sea sponge would believe it. What does that tell you? It may not even last that long if Trump friends doesn't stop trying to start a war with Iran. You start a war with them and you may have to take on both China and Russia at the same time. If that happened then who's side do you think North Korea will side with. Trump gave the ok today to send 2000 more troops to the middle east but still hasn't produced any evidence that Iran has done anything yet. I don't believe two-thirds of democrats polled believe it unless the poll was done my the Republicans and you know how much they lie. Trump is well over 7000 lies he has told the American people so far. |
